A zinc- and phosphorus-rich deposit hosted in diapiric breccias in late Proterozoic sedimentary rocks, near the hill of the same name. It was mined for a few years in the 1970s by Chris Johnson, a mineral dealer, for mineral specimens (mostly scholzite). Located on Martins Well station.

โ“˜ Parahopeite
Formula: Zn3(PO4)2 · 4H2O
โ“˜ Parascholzite ?
Formula: CaZn2(PO4)2 · 2H2O
Description: Described as tiny white, tubular crystals to 1mm intergrown with all Scholzite.
โ“˜ Phosphoferrite ?
Formula: (Fe2+,Mn2+)3(PO4)2 · 3H2O
Description: Given that the description given in the Catalogue of South Australian Minerals - 1983 reads;
"minute clear crystals have been tentatively identified from the Reaphook Hill zinc phosphate deposit."

I would suggest this was gained from a visual identification of what was latter found to be Hillite (2003).
