A small working in the Cef-y-fedw sandstone in the gorge of the Afon Nant-y-Ffrith. Carbonate-cyanotrichite, the UK's second recorded occurrence, forms sky-blue crusts of interlocking spheroidal aggregates of minute feathery crystals in the wall-rock of the underground workings.
