Kรถppen climate type:
The Astingbulake BIFs are generally distributed within the Shayiti Formation in an SEโNW direction, extending over 8.1 km in length and about 10 m to 40 m in width, and dip to the SW with a steep angle of 70โฆโ80โฆ. The iron orebodies are generally of stratiform and bedded shapes, hosted mainly in the quartz schist, tremolite mica schist and quartzite of the Shayiti Formation.
The total iron (TFe) grade ranges from 26.07% to 37.58% (average = 32.75%), with values locally reaching 48.87โ56.02% in migmatized areas. The ores exhibit macro- to microscopic silicateโiron banding, a feature characteristic of IF-type iron deposits.
