Mineral List

Mineral list contains entries from the region specified including sub-localities

7 valid minerals.

Detailed Mineral List:

โ“˜ Chalcopyrite
Formula: CuFeS2
โ“˜ Dickite
Formula: Al2(Si2O5)(OH)4
โ“˜ Galena
Formula: PbS
โ“˜ Millerite
Formula: NiS
โ“˜ Nickelhexahydrite
Formula: Ni(SO4) · 6H2O
Description: Green surface alteration on millerite crystals from the South Wales Coalfield has traditionally been called morenosite without analytical confirmation. Recent investigations of this surface alteration on specimens from the ian jones collection by Prof. Peter Williams of the University of Western Sydney have shown nickelhexahydrite to be present and have failed to detect morenosite.
โ“˜ Siderite
Formula: FeCO3
โ“˜ Siegenite
Formula: CoNi2S4
