The initial prospecting throughout the area shows that mineralization and siliceous alteration types have mostly occurred between trachy-andesite, basaltic andesite, and rhyolite subvolcanic rocks. There are two phases of mineralization including oxidic and sulfidic. A siliceous zone contains gold ores in the Hesar system. Free particles of gold exist in the silicic veins and veinlets. Iron oxides specifically magnetite occurred in the first phase. Martite is also formed by the oxidation of magnetite. The second phase consists of sulfide ore minerals, especially pyrite and arsenopyrite.
