In "Pavelkův les" there are preserved remains of probably medieval prospecting/mining of polymetallic ores. The line of pits with a general direction of NE-SW follows a carbonate-baryte vein with scattered Pb-Zn mineralization.
The steeply lying vein cuts through mica schist, amphibolite and orthogneis ("Bítešská gneis").
On the dumps, mainly small aggregates of galena and sphalerite in carbonate-baryte matrix can still be found, often transformed into cerussite and hydrozincite.
Average content of Ag in galena is about 0.1 %.
A short adit "Kryštof" is dug from the bottom of one deep pit. In the SW part of locality is a deeper open pit called "Pod cestou".
In the valley of a stream flowing from the former solitude "Lhotka" there is a short adit "Antonín Paduánský", which was supposed to drain the mine workings in Pavelkův les, but was not completed.
