Köppen climate type:
Almost all important base-metal veins of this deposit are located in the Upper Proterozoic rocks of the Dobříš series, belonging to the so-called conglomerate-sandstone P2 succession. This rock series has thickness 350–600 m and shows strong facial variability with prevailing sandstones and siltstone layers and elongated lenticular bodies of conglomerates. Thin tuffite beds are also present. The folded sedimentary sequence is intruded by numerous dykes of lamprophyres, diorites, granodiorites and aplites.
The average width of the vein is around 0.5 m, the maximum reported width was 2.2 m with up to 0.45 m width of ore filling. Barren carbonate fillings separate the strongly ore-mineralized portions of the vein. The exceptionality of the H32A vein within other base-metal veins in the Příbram ore district is given by the high Ag content reaching up to 2100 g/t, which is bound to the galena-rich vein portions with up to 14–29 wt% Pb, 0.6–5.5 wt% Zn and up to 1.9 wt% Sb. The vein was explored between the 23rd and 24th level in the length of about 550 m, on the 25th and 26th level it was checked by crosscuts only. The ore reserves reaching 79,735 tons with 2.10 % Pb, 1.39 % Zn a 18.25 g/t Ag were checked during the exploitation workings on the vein H32A between 23rd and 25th level of the shaft No. 16. The mining in the years 1986–1989 between 23rd and 25th level yielded 17457 t of ores with 366.6 t Pb, 242.6 t Zn and 2064.3 kg Ag extracted.
