Primary and supergene Te minerals

The deposit lies within the Ustye massif of alpine-type ultramafic rocks. The ore-bearing zone consists of several quartz veins situated at the contact between a small body of diorites and diorite porphyrites and apoharzburgite serpentinites. These veins strike meridionally and dip steeply to the east, with lengths ranging from 100 to 200 m. Their thickness varies along the dipโ€”from 0.1 to 6 mโ€”exhibiting abrupt swells and pinches. Data from exploratory test pits indicate that the ore zone extends for up to 500 m.
