Porphyry gold-copper deposit, which has an extensive zone of gold- and copper-bearing stockwork-like sheeted veins. The Shadan deposit contains 27 Mt and 0.55 g/t Au [44] and has been classified as an Au–Cu porphyry deposit due to the low content of Cu mineralization. The mineralization occurs as a few hundred-meter ore body that is associated with pipe-like intrusions, which extend vertically over several hundred meters.

The Shadan deposit contains an estimated 57 Mt of ore at 0.55 g/t Au, classifying it as an Au–Cu porphyry system, albeit with a relatively low Cu/Au ratio (~0.27). Shadan exemplifies a structurally controlled, multi-stage porphyry system, exhibiting classic hydrothermal zonation. Ore mineralization at Shadan comprises both hypogene and supergene components.
