A former Au occurrence/claim/prospect/mine located in the NW¼ sec. 6, T6N, R11E, and in the SE¼ sec. 36, T7N, R10E, MDM, 1.2 km (0.7 mile) SSE of Amador City (adjoins the South Spring Hill Mine), on private land. The claim was 1,400 feet by 450 feet. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This is the southern extension of the Keystone Mine.
Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains). No geologic description provided.
Workings include underground openings. Progressed only as far as exploration stage.
