Noted in a 1915 geological report, and by modern exploration companies only. The lack of historical information suggests mining did not last long here, probably about 1912-1915. W.C. Wall was owner. Evidence remaining is a short line of shallow diggings in a treeless paddock south of Bald Hill.
The 1915 inspection notes two shafts and four trenches. Hosted by altered biotite granite near joints in the rock. Cassiterite has developed near the joints as solid seams, however neighbouring rocks were barren, and the geologist dismissed the mine as unpayable.
