Porphyry-type Cu-Au prospect.

Mineralisation hosted in a 73.0 ± 1.5 Ma calc–alkaline I-type oxidized porphyry quartz diorite intrusive within volcanic and volcaniclastic rocks of the early Cretaceous Guáimaro Formation.

The stockwork part of the deposit is located about 0.5 km NE of La Unión town.
