This mine worked two lodes, trending ENE and NE, respectively, on Chycoose Downs, SW of Bissoe. According to Henwood, there also was an elvan in the sett, which "yielded much tin". One of the shafts was referred to as "South Nangiles Mine" in 1870.

From 1833 to 1839, the mine produced 44 tons of black tin under the name "Bissoe Bridge Mine".
