Micro-sized zeolites and the type locality for paulingite-Ca in a shallow road cut and boulders in Miocene Columbia River Basalt Group along Long Creek Road near Threemile Creek, northwest of Ritter, Grant County, Oregon.

The site was found in 1976 by Rudy Tschernich. The largest crystals are within 100 feet (ca. 30 m) north of what was the Threemile School. Smaller paulingite-Ca crystals are abundant in boulders along the road a mile north of the first site.
