Bold & Beautiful Preview: As Dylan Does Katie’s Dirty Work, Carter Pushes Steffy Even Harder — and Somehow That *Is* Possible

First up, we see Miss Dylan at Forrester Creations, approaching a disgruntled Zende — and if you were working under golden boy R.J., you’d be disgruntled, too. Next, Katie fills in Hope on her plan to weaponize Will’s girlfriend.
“Dylan has been tasked with talking to Zende” about jumping ship and joining Logan, Katie says, “and if she wants any kind of acceptance from me, she’d better come through.”

So somehow Dylan just caring about Will makes her untrustworthy, but if she commits an act of corporate espionage on Katie’s behalf, then she’s in? Make it make sense, Bold & Beautiful. Didn’t Katie used to have a moral compass?

In the other plot that we glimpse, a beaming Daphne happily informs Ridge and Brooke that “the surrogate Carter and I have found is a remarkable woman.” That, Steffy is. But she’s also a hella reluctant woman!
Again, Finn’s wife pleads with Carter to call off the charade before it’s too late… or later, anyway. “There’s no way” we’ll get away with this, she cries. “People are gonna figure this out!”

But, Carter being in his villain era, he doesn’t want to hear it. In fact, he pushes Steffy harder than ever to set their scheme in motion. Not only that, but “we have to do this now, Steffy,” he says. “We don’t have time.”

<p><em>Bold & Beautiful’</em>s Steffy was crying and absolutely miserable throughout the entire conversation about her possibly being Daphne’s donor and surrogate, and yet her friend just continued to gush in delight and thank her. Not only could Daphne not read the room, but she also failed to question why her husband was speaking for Steffy and cutting her off repeatedly. The dumbing down to enable this plot is wild!</p>
