Option to use LibreOffice for DOCX β PDF (not only legacy formats)Β #66
LibreOffice is configured in Filee, but DOCX files are still converted by the
built-in rhwp engine (PDF "Creator: rhwp"). For Chinese documents rhwp currently
drops opening punctuation, ignores line-start rules, and outputs blank pages when
a font is missing. LibreOffice converts the same files correctly.
Request: a setting to route DOCX (and other Office formats) through LibreOffice
when it is available, or let the user choose the engine per format.
Added in 1.10.3: Settings β Engines β "When LibreOffice is installed" β "Use LibreOffice for Word documents β PDF" (and the same for spreadsheets). Off by default; turn it on and DOCX, DOC, ODT and RTF go through LibreOffice. The font issue from #61 is also fixed in the built-in route, and Chinese text now gets a Chinese font there too.
