Please describe the project
ODBC connector for MariaDB server URL for the project https://github.com/mariadb-corporation/mariadb-connector-odbc/ Describe current CI/CD setup
Github Actions Describe the primary use case for the Github Action Runner
We want to run tests on s390x.
Based on the review of frequency and job times, I'm happy to share that we can go ahead and on-board this project.
Please install the GitHub App from the following link and select your repository:
π Power Z GHA Runner App
For more details on the on-boarding process, please refer to our documentation:
π Onboarding Guide
Please let me know in this issue once you have installed the github app on your repos. For security reasons, I will double check it is the correct repos and then approve the repos to use our images. You will not be able to use our images until I approve the repos.
After the repos have been approved, you will be able to use the ubuntu-24.04-s390x image in your workflow file. The on-boarding doc linked above will be helpful.
Please note: forks will not be able to use this service since those repos will not be in our allow list.
@lawrinn Apologies for the delay, did you run into any errors when you added the app? I'm not able to find mariadb-corporation/mariadb-connector-odbc/ in the pending (or approved) section of our database.
@pleia2 No problem.
I don't think so. I can see it the list of the installed apps, but with the badge "suspended". I thought this is exactly that you would remove.
Just copied it from there "power-z-gha-runner Suspended
Developed by IBM"
@lawrinn I confirmed with the team, after you make sure your emails match, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if that will get it out of the suspended state.

@pleia2 so, is there any way to proceed? As I said, as far as I can see - it is installed. Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

This does sometimes happen, does the email you signed up with IBMid match one of your email IDs in GitHub?
