The FFI-LLVM-JIT project extends Ruby FFI to improve its performance. It uses LLVM to generate JIT-compiled wrappers and attach native functions without the use of libffi
Lightweight testing + linting on every commit (Ubuntu, macOS), extensive testing on multiple OSes (macOS ARM, macOS Intel, Ubuntu x64, Ubuntu ARM with multiple Ruby and LLVM versions, also Ubuntu RISC-V, Alpine Linux and FreeBSD) on every commit in the main branch and on every PR.
I plan to split this and simplify main branch/PR workflow, moving the rest into manual dispatch/release section.
Describe the primary use case for the Github Action Runner
I want to test the project on a different architecture, I hope it can help me catch bugs (endianness assumptions, integer-size assumptions, pointer arithmetic bugs, alignment issues and so on). Also a different architecture can help find JIT code generation issues.

Hi @uvlad7 , thanks for your patience, we're happy to move forward with on-boarding your project.
Please install the GitHub App from the following link and select your repository:
π Power Z GHA Runner App
For more details on the on-boarding process, please refer to our documentation:
π Onboarding Guide
Please let me know in this issue once you have installed the github app on your repos. For security reasons, I will double check it is the correct repos and then approve the repos to use our images. You will not be able to use our images until I approve the repos.
After the repos have been approved, you will be able to use the ubuntu-24.04-s390x and ubuntu-24.04-ppc64le images in your workflow file. The on-boarding doc linked above will be helpful.
Please note: forks will not be able to use this service since those repos will not be in our allow list.
@pleia2 thanks for accepting my project. I installed the GitHub App (note that I used a fresh IBM Id, because my old one uses an email different from my github email; not sure if it matters)

Great, I've gone ahead and approved the repository. You can start using the labels in your workflow now!
GitHub allows for multiple emails, as long as one of them matches your IBM ID, you should be fine.
