On 30 September 2025, Basic Load Balancer will be retired on Azure, and therefore AKS. We encourage you to upgrade to the Standard Load Balancer by 30 September 2025.
Action Required
As of 30 March 2025, you can no longer create clusters with the Basic Load Balancer. From now until 30 September 2025, existing clusters with basic load balancers will continue to be operational. After 30 September 2025, the Basic load balancer will be fully deprecated. We recommend completing this migration prior to 30 September 2025.
