Hey all, we have a quick update for everyone who participated in the Github "Finish-Up-A-Thon" Challenge.
As we've already stated, we were blown away by the volume of submissions we received for this challenge. We still need a bit more time to carefully review everything and make our final decisions.
We'll be back with the winner announcement next week. Thank you so much for your patience, and for putting so much effort into your builds.
In the meantime, check out all the amazing submissions by browsing #githubchallenge:

Next week it is! 😭✌️
Hi, I am really proud of my submission:)
Sadly there also are mannnyyyy low quality submissions where there is just vibe coded UI with no functionality. That makes me sad and I hope that they will judge accordingly.
I am not against Ai, but "automating" submissions to farm badges or price money or […] has to be handled.
Can you pls share your submission.
It’s called Kramli.

So you're saying... your challenge is to finish up the competition review?
This was my first time participating in a DEV Community hackathon and I’m glad I was able to join the GitHub Finish-Up-A-Thon. It gave me the push I needed to complete my unfinished project and explore new ideas along the way. Thank you to the organizers for putting this together. Wishing everyone the best of luck, I can't wait to see the final results!
This was my first time participating in a dev.to hackathon, and I’m grateful for the beautifully organized "finish-up-a-thon." It truly gave us a second chance to rebuild our apps and explore new directions. Congratulations to all the participants and the team! ☺️ I’m really excited to see the lucky winners.
Hehee, next week now! 😄
that sounds exciting. I'm really intrigued by the kind of projects people are working on. If it's taking this much time, they must be building some pretty amazing stuff...!
excited for it
Do we have any status update on the counting? Just curious
feel free to check out my submission <3
I know it's my project that's causing all the delays, now you've seen why I needed a Finish-Up-A-Thon to complete it! 🌝😃
