The Saxony-Anhalt Cup, known in German as “Sachsen-Anhalt-Pokal” or “Landespokal Sachsen-Anhalt,” is a football knockout competition for clubs based in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. This tournament was established in 1991 and is run by the Football Association of Saxony-Anhalt (FSA).

Teams from Germany’s top two football leagues (the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga) are ineligible to participate in this competition. However, clubs from the 3. Liga, Regionalliga, Oberliga, and Verbandsliga Sachsen-Anhalt are eligible, as well as certain teams from the Landesliga and Kreispokal. Reserve sides have won previous editions of this competition but are no longer permitted to enter. The champions of the Sachsen-Anhalt-Pokal qualify for the DFB-Pokal, Germany’s major knockout cup competition.

Wernigeröder SV Rot-Weiß won the inaugural Saxony-Anhalt Cup in 1991, defeating SV Merseburg 99 3-2 after extra time. FSV Lok/Altmark Stendal was the first team to win it multiple times, claiming back-to-back titles in 1995 and 1996. Meanwhile, 1. FC Magdeburg has been the tournament's most dominant side, amassing 13 titles between 1993 and 2022, along with two victories by their reserve team in 2000 and 2007.
