World Cup

2026

NRK provides free-to-air coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Norway, with matches shown on NRK1, NRK2, NRK3 and NRK Tegnspråk and streamed through NRK TV. NRK shares Norway’s overall 104-match rights package with TV 2, but NRK’s own coverage is available without a subscription inside Norway.

UEFA Women's Champions League

2025-2030

Women's Champions League coverage in Norway is available for free via the public broadcaster, NRK. Thanks to a deal struck until the end of the 2029-30 season, at least one match per game week is shown live on NRK 1, with all matches produced by NRK Sport. In addition to one standard match every game week, the broadcaster also has the additional rights to show all matches featuring Norwegian teams in the competition, one of the two semi-finals, and the final.

NRK TV history, coverage, features

NRK TV is an online streaming service owned and operated by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The service was initially known as NRK Live, but it was later changed to include all the channels owned by the company. NRK became the first European broadcaster that was able to stream shows to mobile devices, giving users a chance to follow their vast multimedia content while on-the-go.

Over the years, the NRK TV has been able to stream most of the content available on all NRK channels, which have included NRK 1, NRK 2, NRK 3, and NRK Super. Those shows restricted to stream live may include sports events, among other type of shows.

Users may find different ways to follow the content streamed by NRK TV. The service may be accessed on mobile phones and tablets working with Android and iOS, Smart TVs, on Google Chromecast, on devices such as Apple TV, and even on videogame consoles such as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. 

People living in Norway will have access to the content produced in all regions of the country, but those living abroad will not be able to stream any of the shows available on the online platform.
