About Anastasenkoite
Formula:
CaFe2+(P2O7)
Crystal System:
Triclinic
The Fe analogue of lisanite. Compare nabateaite.
A representative of the very rare (among the minerals) class of pyrophosphates. Compare canaphite, wooldridgeite; 'pyrophosphite', 'pyrocoproite', and 'arnhemite'. See also UM1991-10-PO:BaCaHMgSr.
Chemically similar to ortophosphates crocobelonite and beershevaite, with further relation to yakubovichite.
First Fe-rich pyrophosphate mineral to date.
