Name:
For German mineralogist, Werner Schreyer (November 14 1930, NĂŒrnberg - February 12 2006, Bochum). He was a professor at Ruhr University Bochum from 1966-1996. He was awarded the Abraham-Gottlob-Werner Medal (German Mineralogical Society) in 1991 and the Roebling Medal (Mineralogical Society of America) in 2002. He made significant mineralogical and petrological contributions on kornerupine- and sapphirine-bearing rocks.
The V analogue of machiite. Chemically, but not structurally, the V analogue of pseudorutile.
