About Stink-FlussHide

Formula:
CaF2
Name:
From the German for "stink" and "flow" in allusion to the odor and the nature as fluorite (Flusspath).
A dark violet to blackish variety of fluorite, especially from Wölsendorf, Germany, that emits an odor of HF and ozone upon grinding due to the internal presence of free fluorine gas and colloidal calcium and the interaction of components with water upon grinding.
The German name "Stinkspat" translates as "stink spar".
