Comments:The clinopyroxenes are intermediate in composition with between 33,7% and 42.5 mol% of the clinoenstatite and diopside compoents, and up to 11.5% of other end member compositions. The dominant molecule varies between different rock samples and the highest clinoenstatite content reported is 40.1% in a brecciated pegmatitic gabbro.
