Empirical formulas:
1(Na0.57K0.19Sr0.02â—»0.23)(Na1.32Mn2+0.47Ca0.20)(Mg2.96Mn2+0.78Fe2+0.65Fe3+0.49Ti0.06Al0.04Ni0.02)[Si8.00O22]([OH]1.74F0.15O0.11)

Comments:the abundant amphibole in the sample was previously referred to as "richterite", but the high Mn and Fe contents indicate that the composition more appropriately falls along the hjalmarite-[ferri-ghoseite] join.

normalized to 8Si=8 gives B-site occupancy as Na = 1.32 apfu; Mn2+ = 0.47 apfu; Ca = 0.20 apfu. Fe2O3 and FeO calculated from total Fe by charge balance; H2O calculated by stoichiometry.
Confirmation
Validity:Believed Valid
