The inflation rate according to the CPI in August 2026 was 0.3 percent, up from 0.2 percent in July. The monthly change for the CPI from July to August was -0.3 percent. The inflation rate according to the CPIF (Consumer Price Index with fixed interest rate) was 0.7 percent in August, which it also was in July.
