This movie is where I listen to one of my favorite songs “Stop Talking About Us by 3-Speed” for the first time.

Campy and fun. One of those 80s movies I just can't help but return to. Some of the humor is outdated, but so is the movie itself.🤷🏾‍♀️

Good slop, and Carrey is only a huge benefit. Fun little teen hijinks movie that nails the camp factor.

Here's a fun fact you might not know Jim Carrey the scene at the Halloween dance between Mark, the countess & Robin was choreographed by him. He did his own dancing. It showcased his physical comedy. And his rubber-man capabilities. Some of the soundtrack is so '80s but catchy. Clevon Little played the campy vampy vampire Sebastian he was perfect for the role. There were a lot of LOL moments. Like when Mark & friends go to dial a date. The scenes where Mark it's in the beginning stages of vamping out in front of his clueless parents. Movies with clueless parents were big in the '80s. Mark transforming from geeky nerd to chicy vampire. Don't want to give away too much of the movie for those who haven't seen it yet. No spoiler alerts here. The '80s had some of the campiest movies. This is no exception. It's definitely earned a spot in the cult classic category.
