Nvidia Shield - Keyboard Home not working

I'm new and can't seem to get the keyboard shortcuts working.

I'm attempting to control a Shield from a Windows 11 PC via network debugging. I ran the following command to stream: scrcpy.exe --audio-codec=aac

I am connected and the mouse clicks and escape, tab and arrow keys are working on the keyboard but things like double-tapping the Home button to access the running apps is not working. Seems like none of the shortcuts requiring the MOD key are working. I also tried running scrcpy.exe --audio-codec=aac --shortcut-mod=lctrl but get the same results when using the left control key as the MOD.

Also, the screen is blank in the scrcpy window when Kodi is playing but the sound comes through.

Any suggestions?

Cannot connect to Pixel 7 Pro (ADB issue)

I just found scrcpy because my Pixel 7 Pro is on life support (I believe the backlight is about to go) and I'm trying to get everything off the phone and wipe the data before I trade it in for a new phone. There's only so much I can do with the phone itself before it starts having a seizure.

Fortunately I backed my photos/videos and other documents onto my NAS before this got bad. However I still have a bunch of apps I'd like to go through and see if there's anything I'm missing before I factory reset.

Unfortunately, the videos I've watched seem to contradict each other. Some tell me to run the VBS script, others the EXE file.

I do have USB debugging enabled (I also enabled wireless debugging just in case I wanted to try wireless) and I did make sure FTP was enabled when plugging it into my computer. As you can see, the adb server does detect my phone; however when O try to connect to it with scrcpy through various methods on the connections page I hit a dead end. Thanks for the help
