The story
One of the most exciting talents to come out of Sharpeville in recent years, Tshepang Moremi was schooled at the Rosina Sedibana Modiba Sports School, where his talent rose to the fore.
The attacking midfielder’s introduction to senior professional football came in 2020 when he secured a move to AmaZulu, with KwaZulu-Natal becoming his home for over five years. His spell at Usuthu also consisted of loan spells at Bizana Pondo Chiefs and JDR Stars in South Africa’s lower leagues before he broke into the Durban outfit’s first team.
After two impressive seasons in the top flight, Moremi became one of the most sought-after talents in local football circles. He eventually secured a move to the Buccaneers where he made an instant impact, starring in the successful MTN8 campaign and walking away with the Last Man Standing award.
During his time at Pirates, Moremi has been capped several times by South Africa and has featured in prestigious international tournaments such as the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
