Shine Sport Yarn

It‘s been a joy to knit with this yarn. It‘s soft with a nice drape and easy on the hands.

Easy to knit with. It’s a thicker cotton, but it is very very soft. Probably the softest cotton I’ve knit with.

Excellent yarn. I will be ordering more once I figure how much I need for the current project I am working on.

Love Shine Sport yarn. I bought this yarn in about 10 different colors for a knit blanket 16 years ago. It's very easy to work with. No splitting at all. It's very soft and machine washes and dries well. well.

This yarn is great to work with. Used about 30 skeins in 5 colors to complete a blanket. Washed gentle and dried on low came out fantastic.

Shine is the perfect name! I love the silky softeness of this yarn. I purchased this yarn originally 5 or 6 years ago and made fingerless gloves for my husband. He uses them often in the winter, and they are still looking great! I recently ordered enough for a summer tee for myself, and I'm so excited to knit with it again. Beautiful colors!

I love this yarn! It is so soft to the touch and it has great stitch definition. It doesn’t hurt my hands like some plant based yarns and the colors are really saturated too. I highly recommend for summer garments.

This is my all-time favorite cotton yarn. I have knit several sweaters and blankets with it. It is amazingly soft, has excellent stitch definition, and is machine-washable. I have been wearing my favorite sweater made with this yarn for over ten years.

I am loving this yarn. I have used the Sport yarn to make some Knitted Knockers (it's a recommended yarn for them) and I have also used the worsted weight version for some blankets. It is so soft and easy to knit with. It takes a little getting used to because it's a softer cotton, I find it easier to split than a mercerized cotton. However, it produces an absolutely gorgeous result.

I love the way it knits up . Using it for scarfs... However the color ‘blush’ I purchased is a little more pink than the picture shows. However it’s still nice. I love it. I did order some more colours.

I love this yarn! I bought some to make Knitted Knockers, and it has been an enjoyable experience to knit with. I've gotten comments on how soft and shiny it looks. This is one of my first non-wool purchases from Knitpicks, and I will definitely come back for more!

*pretty and soft, but the lint keeps coming* The shedding was not as noticeable with lighter colors, but the black was especially bad for shedding. I was told to wash it so see if that reduced the amount of fiber loss from the yarn. As this yarn ages, it becomes more likely to lose fiber at a higher rate, so don't stock up to use later (can't get a refund later anyway.) One star for the nice colors. If the softer the yarn, the more lint, it's not worth it. Could be a bad batch of modal or just the darker dyes ruin the modal? Natural fibers do lose a little lint, but not as bad and continuously as this yarn.

The yarn is soft and bouncy. Works up beautifully. Color is bright and vibrant.

The yarn is soft and easy to work with. I’ve been using it to crochet baby clothes and works amazing. It’s just not as white as pictured; it’s more beige-white.

This is my favorite cotton yarn! I always use it for crochet projects. It is super soft to the touch so it is a pleasure to work with it. I've washed my finished projects by hand and machine, it won't shrink at all in my experience. I always try to be careful when washing it, I still have pieces made years ago still looking great. I wouldn't change it for any other cotton yarn.
