After my 12th, I was honestly not very sure about what I wanted to do. I was not that serious about my career at that time. Like many students, I was just going with the flow without a clear direction. Then I gave KCET. After the results came out, I realized that I had scored well and could actually get into a good college. That is when things started becoming a little serious for me.
SEARCHING FOR COLLEGES
I started searching about colleges in Karnataka. One name kept coming up everywhere RV College of Engineering.

Slowly, that became my goal. I remember thinking if I get RVCE, that would be the best thing for me.
ADMISSION DAY EXPERIENCE
The admission day is something I will never forget. Me and my dad planned everything in advance. We left our place at night so that we could reach early in the morning. It was a mix of excitement and nervousness. I did not know what exactly to expect. We reached Bangalore early morning and even explored a bit around the college. We had breakfast nearby and then went to the campus. We reached around 7:30 AM. The funny part was the college was not even open yet. Still, we were just standing there, waiting. That moment felt special because I knew this was the college I had aimed for.
SECOND ROUND ADMISSION
I got my seat in the second round. On that day, I reached early again and this time I was actually the first person there for admission. I still remember being called first and completing all the formalities.

Everything felt smooth, but inside I was very excited. That was the moment it finally felt real. I had made it to RVCE.
AFTER ADMISSION
After completing everything, me and my dad left and went back home. It was a simple day, but a very important one in my life. At that time, I did not realize how big this step was, but looking back now, it was the beginning of everything.

Most importantly, do not panic if you feel lost after 12th. It happens to many people. Sometimes clarity comes only after you take the first step. For me, that step was getting into RVCE. And that journey started with one simple admission day.
