Why hire a ghostwriter? Why would you hire an accountant? Or a programmer? Or a landscaper? Because you want the job done, and either don't have time or expertise to do it yourself. Getting the job done is more important than who is doing it.

I hit the 1 year mark of my digital writing experience. In late April 2022, I signed up for a Ship30For30 cohort. I wrote everyday for a month. It was the start of me learning how to capture attention for the digital age. I've come a long way, a long way still to go.
