Yimas är ett karawarispråk med 300 talare (2000).[1] Yimas är agglutinerande och polysyntetiskt.[2] Yimas har en ganska fri ordföljd.[3]
Yimas har tolv konsonanter och fyra vokaler.[2][3] Till skillnad från många andra papuanska språk skiljer yimas mellan r och l.[3]
