Boston is an American rock band. Tom Scholz made the band in Boston, Massachusetts in 1975. The main members of the band include Scholz, who played many musical instruments, and singer Brad Delp. Delp died in 2007.[1]
The band's first album is named Boston. They released it in 1976. It is one of the best-selling albums made by an American rock band. Some of the band's most popular songs are "More Than a Feeling", "Foreplay/Long Time", "Rock and Roll Band", "Smokin'", "Don't Look Back", "Hitch a Ride" and "Feelin' Satisfied". The band has sold more than 75 million records. They are one of the world's best selling music artists.[2][3]
After Delp died, many singers have been in Boston. From 2007 to 2026, Tommy DeCarlo sang for the band. Michael Sweet, the singer for Stryper, has also been in the band. Boston has released six studio albums. Their newest album was released in 2013. It is named Life, Love & Hope.
