Rotherham United have signed Sheffield United central defender Ryan Cresswell on a three-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old impressed Millers boss Mark Robins when playing for the Blades reserves against Rotherham's second string on 5 September.
He was an unused Rotherham substitute in Saturday's draw with Notts County.
"He has come in as an emergency loan because Ian Sharps is out and Ryan will give us that bit of cover," Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield.
