Does getServerSideProps()run only the first time user visits the page, or is it also being executed when the user navigates to the page using next/link?

Let's say user visits the /browse-posts page, and I use getServerSideProps() to fetch the posts. The user navigates using Link to another page and creates a new post, and then navigates back to /browse-posts. Will the user see the old posts, that were passed to react the first time the page got rendered, or will getServerSideProps() get executed again, and the user will see the updated posts?
