Ahn Jun-hee (en coreano: 김대현; Busan, 12 de octubre de 1972), más conocido como Joseph Kahn, es un director de videos musicales, de publicidad y de largometrajes surcoreano. Kahn ha trabajado con diversos artistas, como Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Muse, AKB48, Ciara, Britney Spears, Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, Imagine Dragons, Monica, Rob Zombie, Backstreet Boys, U2, The Chemical Brothers, Blink-182, Eminem, TLC, Mariah Carey, Moby, George Michael, Korn, Janet Jackson, The Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child, Gwen Stefani, Delta Goodrem, Brandy, The Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Ava Max y varios otros.

Kahn ha ganado múltiples premios por producción de videos musicales. Ha recibido nominaciones en la categoría Video musical del año en los MTV Video Music Awards por los videos musicales de "The boy is mine" de Brandy & Monica y "Toxic" Britney Spears. En el 2002 ganó su primer Premio Grammy por el video musical de "Without me" de Eminem, el cual también ganó en las categorías Video musical del año y Mejor Dirección en los MTV Video Music Awards 2002.

Kahn también ha dirigido comerciales para Acura, Bacardí, Vodafone, Budweiser, ASICS, Renault, Coors Light, NASCAR, Saab Automobile, Ford Motor Company y PlayStation PlayStation 2 Su empresa Fox/Nascar ganó un Clio 2004 por efectos especiales.

Vida y carrera

Kahn nació como Ahn Jun-hee en Busan, Corea del Sur.[1][2] Su familia pasó parte de su infancia allí y en Livorno, Italia, hasta que se mudaron a Jersey Village, Texas, un suburbio de Houston, cuando Joseph tenía siete años.[3] Tras graduarse en el instituto Jersey Village High School en 1990, Kahn ingresó en la Escuela de Artes Tisch de la Universidad de Nueva York, pero abandonó los estudios al cabo de un año. De vuelta en Houston, comenzó a dirigir vídeos musicales de hip hop.[4]
