It takes place in the fantasy world of Teyvat, home to seven nations, each of which is tied to a different element. The story follows the Traveler, an interstellar adventurer separated from their sibling, as they travel across Teyvat with their guide Paimon to reunite with the sibling. Along the way, the two make friends with Teyvat's people and resolve conflicts. Regardless of which nation they hail from, individuals with great ambitions may be granted a Vision, a magical gemstone that allows the user to control a specific element. Genshin Impact has received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its combat mechanics and open world, but criticizing its endgame and monetization model. Palawan hornbill

There are sixty-four species of hornbill recognised by the International Ornithologists' Union, although the exact number is disputed due to taxonomic disagreements. Hornbills are birds in the families Bucerotidae (the arboreal hornbills) and Bucorvidae (the ground hornbills). They are found in Africa and Asia, and most live in tropical and sub-tropical forests, or savannahs. The International Union for Conservation of Nature lists two species as critically endangered, six as endangered, seventeen as vulnerable, six as near threatened, and thirty-one as of least concern. The species with the smallest estimated population is the critically endangered Sulu hornbill, estimated to number fewer than fifty mature individuals. The species with the largest estimated population is the vulnerable Palawan hornbill (example pictured), which numbers up to fifty thousand mature individuals. Species of fossil hornbills are known from the Miocene onward, but the fossil record of the taxon is poor. (Full list...)

The cinnamon flycatcher (Pyrrhomyias cinnamomeus) is a species of tyrant flycatcher found in the cloud forests of the Andes and other South American mountain ranges, from Venezuela and Colombia south to Argentina. With a length of 11 to 13 cm (4.3 to 5.1 in), it has cinnamon-rufous underparts, mainly olive-brown upperparts, and black wings with two rufous wing bars. It inhabits foothill and montane forest, particularly brushy clearings and forest edges. The cinnamon flycatcher feeds on arthropods, capturing prey in mid-air during short flights from exposed perches, but also eats berries. It typically forages in pairs and joins mixed-species flocks. It is classified as a least-concern species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. This cinnamon flycatcher of the subspecies P. c. pyrrhopterus was photographed in Quijos Canton, Ecuador.
